Tijdens
deze conferentie komt de problematiek van de (ex-) expat uitgebreid aan
bod. Samen met experts en ervaringsdeskundigen wordt getracht een
antwoord te geven op enkele hete hangijzers:

belooft een groots netwerkevent en dé zomerhappening van en voor (ex-)
expats te worden, georganiseerd op uitdrukkelijke vraag van de vele
Vlamingen wereldwijd.
Speciaal
voor dit event heeft de stichting Vlamingen in de Wereld korting weten
te bekomen op heen en terug vluchten naar Brussel. Brussels Airlines

EVENTS - BLIC News - Another Win For BLIC Red Devils
Our Football Team did it again!
The BLIC Team won a Three Country Tournament facing expat teams
from the Netherlands and Germany at the NIS Football grounds on Saturday
16 September 2012.
Our
results : BEL-HOL 1-0, HOL-BEL 0-5, BEL-GER 1-0, GER-BEL 1-2 made us the Tournament's winners!
Congratulations to the Team and its Captain Xavier Matton.
And our thanks to
-the handful of Belgians who came to support the Team
-Waffely Good for their generous contribution
-Katrien Soete for the photos. (more pictures in the photo section of the website)
The victory champagne, generously offered by The Dutch Ambassador, tasted so well.

EVENTS - FOOTBALL - Honorable 10th place for the Belgian team in the (Jakarta) World Cup !!
The
Belgium team finished the World Cup on the 10th position (out of 25
countries represented) after a series of 8 matches, despite very limited
strength (6 players) and 3 injured guys at the end !!!
Even more important, Belgium beat the German Plus 3-1 (WC winner 2010) at the end of the day after defeating the rough Danes and starting the game on one's last legs.
Finally, I should also mention that the organizer has described our team as the most talented team of the tournament. He could only regret that we were missing few calves to rotate on the pitch. 2012 Belgium Squad (cfr picture attached) : - Quentin Vanoekel - Laurent de Schoutheete - Corentin Cassiers - Gaspard Dessy - Othman El Boukhsimi - Xavier Matton

EVENTS - FIT - Doing Business in Indonesia (Jakarta May 22, 2012)

In line with this upcoming visit to Indonesia of an
important delegation of Belgian business people organized by Flanders
Investment and Trade (FIT), there will be an event to which I am pleased to
invite the members of BLIC:

Meridien, Jl Jenderal Sudirman, Jakarta.
The programme will begin with a formal welcome by the
Belgium Embassy and FIT Brussels
followed by short presentations
and round-table discussions on the subject of Doing Business in Indonesia by Jakarta-based business representatives.
A formal reception will conclude this event.
BLIC members will have the opportunity to meet Belgian
companies interested in exploring business opportunities in Indonesia while the
members of the Belgian delegation can benefit from first-hand experiences of
Belgian companies already being established here.
Important note: registration
for this event is compulsory as there is a limited amount of seating and a
confirmation of your registration will be sent by FIT with full details of the
programme. As such, your RSVP should reach us latest by Friday 18 May 2012.
